Nigeria Hosts a Memorable Mawlid-Un-Nabi ﷺ to Celebrate Whom Allah Loves.
Abuja, Nigeria, September 2024 — Orphans, People living with Disabilities, and other Lovers of Rasul Allah ﷺ gathered at the National Mosque, Abuja Nigeria in the morning of Sunday September 15th to celebrate the Grand Mawlid-Un-Nabi ﷺ. The event was held under the spiritual leadership of Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi and Nigerian FZHH volunteers.
The 1st Naqshbandi Sufi Meditation Center Grand Mawlid-Un-Nabi ﷺ took place in the hall attached to the National Mosque in Abuja where 200+ people including orphans gathered to honor the birth of Rasul Allah ﷺ.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Yaseen from the Holy Quran, followed by soulful Naats and Nasheeds from the Muhammadan Way App in praise of the Prophet ﷺ.
In addition, Shaykh Nurjan’s Sohbat was played for the audience who listened with rapt attention. a man from the people living with disability camp specifically asked for the links to more sohbats.
After the Mawlid, a sumptuous lunch was provided for everyone and the Orphans gathered around Fatima Zahra Helping Hands Volunteers to cut the beautiful Mawlid cake to take with juice packs and biscuits.
The atmosphere was joyousas everyone left the Mawlid with some knowledge and peace in their heart Insha Allah.
